This Indenture made the twenty first day of August one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight [21 Aug 1858] Between George F. Wilkes and Hylinda his wife of the town of Monroe of County of Orange and State of New York of the first part and Sarah A. Davison wife of John G Davison of the City

County and State of New York of the second part Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars [$600] lawful money of the United States to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and the said party of the second part her heirs executors and administrators forever released and discharged from the same by these presents have granted bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien remise release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to her heirs and assigns forever.
All that certain piece or parcel of land situated partly in the town of Monroe and partly in the town of Blooming Grove and bounded as follows Beginning at the middle of the road running from J. H. Bull's to Satterly Town at George Jaquis corner and thence along said road westerly to the lands of E. Vernon dec'd thence northerly along Vernon's land to his corner thence along the highway to the south corner of said Wilkes' quarry lot to a stake and stones thence easterly along the stone fence to the foot of the mountain thence up the mountain to the town line and lands owned by Moses Clark thence southerly along said line to the center of the road thence northerly to a chestnut tree thence southerly along Lewis Howell land to said Jaquis land thence along said Jaquis land to the place of beginning the original land owned by David Mapes deceased.

agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs

  This Indenture made the fifth day of March in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine [5 Mar 1859]. Between George F. Wilkes and Hylinda his wife of the town of Monroe County of Orange and state of New York of the first part and Sarah A. Davison of the City County & State of New York of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of two thousand dollars [$2000] lawful money of the United States to her in hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and the said party of the second part her heirs executors and administrators forever released and discharged from the same by these presents have granted bargained sol aliened remised released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents to grant bargain sell alien remise release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to her heirs and assigns forever.

Thence east along Cooley's line until it strikes Rider's line. Thence along Rider's line until it strikes the top of the mountain to a stone heap in the town line thence along the town line southerly until it strikes Davison's line thence along Davison's line to the place of beginning It being the ballance of the land that the parties of the first part owned in the Town of Blooming Grove.
